The Horse Shelter also includes a solid wall of 2×6 kickboards on the interior. The Horse Shelter Shed is designed to give your horses the protection they need, wherever they need it PLUS the convenience of a side room for storing food, tools, and supplies.

The metal roof is maintenance-free and you have the option of choosing the classic painted wood siding or going with metal sides as well. The interior framing is extra heavy and rugged to withstand the abuse that will likely be given to it by your horse friends. The shelter is built onto heavy-duty 6×6 pressure-treated skids that allow it to be portable, giving you the luxury of moving it from one location to another as needed.

We recommend a gravel base to set the shed on. If this is not a good option for you, we are happy to offer you some more ideas and options.
Look for any low hanging wires or tree branches that will be in the way of getting the shed to the desired location.
We encourage you to do any necessary tree trimming prior to delivery of your structure.
